Joann Szabados

Services for JoAnn (Traz) Szabados, 70, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Michael J. Currier will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 9-11 AM on Tuesday, prior to the service.

Mrs. Szabados passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Mentor.

Born January 26, 1947 in Cleveland, she has lived in Mentor-on-the-Lake for the past five years.

She loved to spend time with and spoil her grandson, Zachary.

Survivors are her husband of nearly 30 years, Harry; daughter, Debbie Szabados (Jeff Wilson); grandson, Zachary Szabados; sister, Linda (John) Gray and brother, Joseph (Bernie) Traz. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Doris (Brokaw) Traz.

Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township, following the service on Tuesday.
