John W. Antalovich

Services for John W. Antalovich, Sr., 93, of North Perry, will be at 10 AM on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at St. Cyprian Catholic Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Road, Perry. Please meet at the Church.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Friday, October 1, 2021, at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

John passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 27, 2021.

He was born July 7, 1928, in Homestead, PA, and has lived in North Perry since 1968.

John lived a long and full life. He was a United States Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. It was during this service that he found his calling as a photogrammetrist. Upon moving to Ohio in 1968, he joined Kucera International in Willoughby Ohio where he was CEO for over 40 years. John was a dedicated member of the community, serving on the Perry School Board for 12 years as well as on the boards of the Lake Parks Foundation and the Perry Foundation. He was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Madison.

John loved gardening, spending most of his free time planting flowers and tending to his lawn. His love of gardening was surpassed only by his devotion to his family. He was happiest when surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great grandchild.

Survivors are his children, John W. (Maureen) Antalovich, Jr., Scott K. (Rita) Antalovich and Susan (Albert, III) Cliffel; grandchildren, Anne (Drew) Ayers, Mary Grace Antalovich, John Henry Antalovich, Samantha Antalovich, Albert Cliffel, IV and Nickolaus Cliffel and great-granddaughter, Audra Ayers.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Helen, on April 20, 2017. His parents, John R. and Mary (Timko) Antalovich and sisters, Helen Davis, Mary Popovich and Matilda Miller are also deceased.
Final resting place will be in Perry Cemetery.
