A celebration of the life of John E. Fick, III, 64, of Mentor, will be from 6-8 PM on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.
Mr. Fick passed away Monday, June 21, 2021.
Born October 27, 1956 in Lima, he was a longtime Chardon resident before retiring to Navarre, FL, where he lived for 12 years, before returning to Mentor four years ago.
He was a United States Air Force veteran and member of the Pokagon Band of Potawaomi. He loved taking care of his house plants and was also a Cleveland Indians fan.
Survivors include the love of his life for the past 44 years, Phyllis Fick; children, Paul Baker, Wendy Fick (fiancée, Lou Sapic) and Amanda Christensen; grandchildren, Tyler, Nevada, Zachary and Chris; great-granddaughter, Mila Rose; mother, Barbara Murphy; father and step-mother, John and Carol Fick; brothers, Steve (Vivian) Fick, Paul (Alex) Fick, Bob (Kelly) Fick and sister, Holly Robison. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Tom Murphy.
