John Hipps

Private family services will be held for John B. Hipps, 65, of Mentor. Mr. Hipps passed away Weds., Dec. 12, 2012 at his home. Born Jan. 1, 1947 in Spangler, PA, he has lived in Mentor for the past 51 years. He was a United States Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. Survivors are his sisters, Margaret (William) Bush and Elizabeth (Robert) Grusendorf; brothers, Harold (Barbara) Hipps and Ivan Meckley. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families. His parents, Harold and Clara Hipps; brothers, Ben Hipps and Jack Meckley and sisters, Evelyn Hipps and Donna Meckley are deceased.
