John Hubrath

Graveside services and interment for John Hubrath, 91, of Eastlake, will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Knollwood Cemetery, 1678 SOM Center Road, Mayfield Heights. Please meet in the parking lot near the cemetery office.

Mr. Hubrath passed away Friday, October 20, 2017.

Born January 13, 1926 in Cleveland, he has lived in Eastlake since 1959.

He was a World War II United States Army veteran and also served in the United States Air Force following his Army service.

Mr. Hubrath was employed by East Ohio Gas Company, retiring in 1985 after 35 years of service.

Survivors are his wife of 58 years, Evelyn (Deary) Hubrath; children, John Hubrath, Patricia (Ray) Schmitz, Karl Hubrath and Gail (Dave) Ritterbeck; grandchildren, Jennifer Desphy and Jovekhan (Alicia) Desphy; great-grandchildren, Carter, Aslan and Quinton Desphy and sister, Gracie Roberts. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Myrtle (Mott) Hubrath and siblings, Frances, Dorothy, Ruth and Henry.
