John Paul Juratovac

A Celebration of Life for John P. Juratovac, 64, of Willoughby, will be at 11 AM on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Erieside Church on the Boulevard, 221 East 320th Street, Willowick. The Rev. Jason D. Boggs will officiate at the celebration.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Mr. Juratovac passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic.

Born August 8, 1953 in Willowick, he was a lifelong Lake County resident.

John attended Erieside Church on the Boulevard as a youth. He loved spending time with his grandsons and being outdoors in area parks. He was also an avid Cleveland sports fan, holding season tickets for the Indians and Browns, and enjoyed watching sports with his brother.

Mr. Juratovac was employed as Food Services Manufacturer’s Representative, for over 20 years, working for Fin-Zink and Associates, which later became Zink Marketing. John later formed his own branch office, Jura & Associates.

Survivors are his children, Heather (Thomas) Benson and Andrew Juratovac; grandsons, Justin, Kyle and Nathan Benson and Jaxson Juratovac and brother, William R. (Francine) Juratovac, II. He also leaves his nephew, William R. (Lori) Juratovac, III and their family and his former wife, Barbara (Spinner) Juratovac.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William R. and Alice V. (Haywood) Juratovac and sister, Janice Hranak.
