John Kral

A gathering to celebrate the life of John J. Kral, 61, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, will be held from 5-7 PM Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. There will be a time of remembrances beginning at 7 PM. Mr. Kral passed away Monday, April 23, 2012 at his home. Born July 13, 1950 in Shaker Heights, he lived in Chesterland for 14 years before moving to Mentor-on-the-Lake in 1993. He was an avid golfer and loved to spend summers at the family cottage on Pelee Island in Canada. He also enjoyed cigars, sports and the music of his favorite band, The Doors. Mr. Kral and his wife were former owners of P.J.'s Office Supply Company in Chesterland. John was a loving husband and father, survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Patricia (O'Neill) Kral and children, Patrick Kral, a student at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and Elizabeth Kral (fiancé, Jonathan Jarrous) of Willoughby. He also leaves his nephew, Steven Kral and niece, Cyndi Kral and many dear friends. His parents, Elmer and Helen Kral are deceased.
