John A. Macintyre

Private family services will be held for John A. MacIntyre, 89, of Wickliffe.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Born December 12, 1928 in Cleveland, he passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on January 17, 2018 at his winter home in Bradenton, FL.

Survivors are his wife of 67 years, Marilyn (Aring) MacIntyre; children, Janet Halko, Jacki (Phil) Zaleski, John (Vicki) MacIntyre and Jean (Bob Weinland) Mancisio; grandchildren, Amy, Mollie, Elizabeth, Jaime, Sarah, Jessicah, Krissi, Joshua, Alicia, Emily, Peter, Olivia and Emerson and great grandchildren, Tyler, Gabriel, Stella, Charlotte, Luci, Levi, Ella, Norah and Kami; and siblings, Roy and Bill MacIntyre and Elaine Witt. He also leaves his former son-in-law, Vincent Mancisio, Sr.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Vincent, Jr., his parents, Edwin and Eva (Hauer) MacIntyre and brother, Bob MacIntyre.

Private family burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township.
