John D. Thomas

Funeral services for John D. Thomas, 84, of Eastlake, will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave, Willoughby. Pastor Donald Perks will officiate at the service.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, Willoughby.
Mr. Thomas passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 at Lake West Medical Center.
Born April 23, 1931 in Six Mile Run, PA, he has lived in Lake County for nearly 60 years.
John is a US Army Veteran and a member of American Legion Post 678 of Willowick. He loved to travel, play golf and watch any Cleveland professional sports team.
Mr. Thomas worked in supervisory roles for Addressograph Multigraph Corp., Fluid Control, Parker Hannifin Corp., and retired from the Mentor School System in 1996.
Survivors are his wife of more than 30 years, Mary Ann Thomas, sons, Jeffrey (Jackie) Thomas and Daryl (Karen) Thomas and daughter, Tammy (Terry) Frazier, as well as step-daughters, Valerie (Richard) White and Vicki (Don) Jenkins, 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in Mentor Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to the JFK Senior Center, 1580 332nd St., Eastlake, OH 44095
