Jonathan Samuel Baeslack

Memorial services for Jonathan S. Baeslack, 31, of Willoughby, will be at 12 Noon on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Larry A. Pozza of ShadeTree Community Church will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 12 noon on Monday, prior to the service.

Jon passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 8, 2018.

He was born October 30, 1987 in Westerville, Ohio.

He held a Second Degree Black Belt in Karate and enjoyed playing video games. Jon was a graduate of Rensselear Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering. He had also worked as a research intern at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland.

Survivors are his parents, Bud and Shelley Baeslack; sisters, Gen Potts and Grace (Dominic) Angelone and brother, Drew (Michelle) Baeslack; nephews, Jacob, Cole and Michael and niece, Katelyn. He also leaves his paternal grandfather, William Baeslack, Jr. and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, L. Philip and Gene O. Longley and paternal grandmother, Yolanda T. Baeslack.
