Joseph J. Brown

A Memorial Mass for Joseph J. Brown, 84, of Concord Twp. will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. 8560 Mentor Avenue. Mentor. Rev. Fr. Peter A. Morris will officiate at the Mass.

The family will receive friends one hour before the Mass, at the Church., followed by a reception at the Church. 

Mr. Brown passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

He was born on July 18, 1942 in Ashtabula Ohio. He had lived in Mentor for 24 years before moving to Concord Twp. in 2000.

Survived are his son, Sean, daughter in law, Nicole (Strukel) and his sister, Tina. He was preceded in death by his parents, P.F. and Joanna Brown, and his wife Joanne. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Helping Hands of St. Mary of The Assumption Catholic Church.
