Judith A. Stoddard

Memorial services for Judith A. (Wooley) Stoddard, 71, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, will be 7:30 PM, Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-7:30 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stoddard passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Born August 8, 1941 in Cleveland, she had lived in Mentor for more than 40 years before moving to Mentor-on-the-Lake.

She was a dedicated volunteer with the March of Dimes, was involved with the Special Olympics for many years, and was employed as a bus driver for the Deepwood Center in Mentor.

She is survived by her daughter, Durinda (Bill) Johnson of Madison; son, Jason (Danelle) Stoddard, of Mentor; grandchildren, Sanita, Jassalynn, Ryan, Erin, Ashleigh, Kayla, Monique, Kendra, Makenna, one grand daughter due in September and nine great grandchildren. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Stoddard, Sr., her parents, Louis G. Wooley and Vernice D. Burgess and sister, Marolyn Zukoski.

Final resting place will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, in Twinsburg.
