Judy Ann Cromie

A Celebration of Life for Judy A. (Towart) Cromie, 71, of Willowick, will be at 7 PM on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Judy passed away June 9, 2025 in Cleveland. She was born September 19, 1953 in East Chatham, New York.

Judy travelled in her early years, opening up restaurants for Sambo’s, before settling in Willowick and working hospitality for various restaurants in the area.

She loved all animals including birds and dogs, and enjoyed feeding the deer and squirrels. She truly enjoyed being with family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Thomas D. Cromie; children, Angel (Glen) Davis, Dustin Cromie, and Chelsea Cromie; grandchildren, Matthew and Jonathon Davis; father-in-law, James R. Cromie. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and her canine companion, Sully Cromie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Towart and Alma Leighfield; brother, Tommy Towart; and beloved mother-in-law, Renee Starcher.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Euclid Animal Shelter, 25100 Lakeland Blvd., Euclid, OH 44132 or any local animal shelters.
