Julia Kanaga

Funeral services for Julia Ann Kanaga, age 54, will be 11:00am Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Mentor United Methodist Church. 8600 Mentor Avenue, Mentor. The Rev. Kathy Dickriede from the church will officiate at the service.
Ms. Kanaga passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born June 23, 1958, she resided in the Toledo area until she moved to Lake County in 1991. She worked for Bob Evans restaurants for more than 33 years and was a member of Mentor United Methodist Church. Ms. Kanaga is survived by her children; Andrew (Jennifer) Kanaga, Sarah (Keith) Hall, Kate (Tim) Szakacs, Samantha Kanaga, Sabrina Kanaga, Jamie Kanaga and Kim (Ed) Apel, 14 grandchildren, and one great-grandson. She is also survived by siblings, Bob, John, Rich, Guy, Tom, Dave, Jim, Susan, Joan and Ione. She is preceded by her parents, James and Joan (McCarthy) Glauser, and a baby brother, Jimmy.
The family will receive friends from 3 – 8 pm Monday, July 9 at the Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. Interment will take place at Mentor Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, 44110.
