Karie Sue Bair

Funeral services for Karie S. Bair, 43, of Mentor, will be at 7 PM Friday, October 7, 2022 at Grace Church of Mentor, 6883 Reynolds Rd., Mentor.

Karie passed away peacefully October 4, 2022 with her loving family by her side. Born December 2, 1978 in Painesville, she lived in Lake County her entire life.

She was a 1997 graduate of Perry High School. She went on to graduate from Cedarville College in 2001 with a Bachelor Degree in Nursing. She worked at Hillcrest Hospital in the surgical department for 10 years.

Karie loved to scrapbook and homeschool her children. She was an active member of Grace Church of Mentor. Her greatest passion in all that she did was to be found faithful in Christ Jesus.

Survivors include her husband of nearly 15 years, Nick; children, Andrew (11) and Abby (7) Bair; parents, Lorre (Dennis) Chalfant and Larry Potter; sister, Aimee Potter; grandmothers, Doris Garland and Martha Potter; mother-in-law, Sue Bair; sisters-in-law, Amber Bair and Ashley (Eric Underwood) Bair; she leaves behind many aunts and uncles, cousins, a niece and their families.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Jim Bair and grandfathers, Albert Garland and Elmer Potter.

Final resting place will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.

Family suggests contributions be made to Arch Ministries, via Grace Church of Mentor.
