Katherine E. Scammon

Private family services will be held for Katherine E. Scammon of Eastlake, formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Mrs. Scammon passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at her home in Eastlake.

Survivors are her daughter, Marianna (James) McDonald of Eastlake and son, John J. Scammon of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; grandsons, Joseph R. (Christina) Gorak of Eastlake and Nicolas R. Scammon, serving in the United States Navy; granddaughters, Ivy and Eva Bedell of Coral Springs, Florida; great grandson, Joey Gorak, II of Eastlake; sisters, Karen (John) Firment of North Carolina, Maggie Barnett of Oregon and brothers, John (Jane) Goodrich and Kenneth Goodrich, both of New Hampshire. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George R. “Dick” Scammon and son, George R. “Dicky “Scammon. Her parents, Albion and Roberta (Whitten) Goodrich; brothers, Albion and Robert Goodrich and beloved dog, Tabitha, are also deceased.
