Kathleen Sirca

Mass of Christian Burial for Kathleen (Normile) Sirca, 73, of Wadsworth, will be at 10 AM on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Saint Paschal Baylon Catholic Church, 5384 Wilson Mills Road, Highland Heights. The Rev. John Thomas Lane, SSS will officiate at the Mass.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Mrs. Sirca passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Summa Health System Barberton Hospital.

Born June 8, 1949 in Cleveland, she has lived in Wadsworth for the past 50 years.

She and her husband George were foster parents to ten children; she loved water gardening, a hobby she enjoyed for more than 40 years, and traveling to Las Vegas to visit her aunt and play the slot machines. She was also an avid Cleveland “Indians” fan, not so much the Guardians.

Survivors are her husband of 52 years, George; son, John; granddaughters, Halley, Savannah, Ella, Charlotte and great-granddaughter, Piper. She also leaves her sisters, Linda (John) Vargo, Debbie Capretta and Maureen (Jim) Bondra and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Julia (Finkes) Normile and brother-in-law, Mark Capretta.

Private family burial will be in All Souls Cemetery at a later date.
