Kenneth E. Kreger

November 27, 1941 — August 4, 2021

A service of remembrance for Kenneth Earl Kreger, 79, of Willoughby, will be at 3 PM on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Willoughby United Methodist Church, 15 Public Square, Willoughby.

Ken passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021 of a heart attack.

Born November 27, 1941 in Cleveland, he was raised in Lyndhurst and graduated from Brush High School. He has lived in Willoughby for the past 46 years.

He was an active member of Willoughby United Methodist Church and was an avid hot rod enthusiast. He also served six years in the United States Army Reserve.
Ken was employed at Bailey Controls and also Barefoot and Case and retired from Anderson and Bolds.

Survivors are his wife of 46 years, Marty (Schwarz); children, Kenneth (Danette) Kreger, Kimberly (John) Lovsin and Kevin (Cheryl) Lewis; grandchildren, Duncan, Haley, Lauren, Samuel and Caleb and sisters, Carol and Martha. He will be missed by his many friends, family members and dogs, Missy and Mister.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Marie (Spiegel) Kreger and his brother-in-law, Lou.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Willoughby United Methodist Church or to Marilyn’s Voice Dog Rescue, P.O. Box 282, Mentor, OH 44061-0282.
