Kerry Anne Krizman, 49, of Mentor, beloved and amazing daughter of Gil and Arlene Krizman and very much adored and loving fiancé of Patrick Flanigan gained her wings on September 7, 2023 and is soaring high with the angels in Heaven. She was born October 10, 1973 in Willoughby.
Kerry was a 1992 graduate of Mentor High School and received her Masters Degree in Human Resources from Cleveland State University. She recently began her dream job of working for Air Methods (medical helicopters) based in Denver, Colorado.
She leaves behind to mourn her are her special uncles and aunts; Matthew and Barbara Krizman, Jerry and Cindy Koucky and Donald and Diane Krizman; special cousins, Julie (Louis) Koucky-Bunnick and their daughters, Emma and Anna, Sherri (Patrick) Carmody and their daughters, Claire and Lucy, and Suzanne (Tom) Friel, John Krizman, and James (Caroline) Krizman. She also leaves special and much loved friends, Derek and Lydia Brockway and Michelle Flanigan.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jerry and Ann Koucky and Matthew and Rose Krizman and her beloved feline and equine family, Riley, Bo, Klutz, Swiss, and Norma.
The family wishes to thank Air Methods, Savannah and the Human Resources team. Your kindness and understanding will never be forgotten.
We would also like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center in Chardon, Hospice of the Western Reserve, and Father Ian Kelly of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and our caring family, friends, and neighbors.
Kerry was blessed to be loved and to receive extraordinary care and compassion by her fiancé, Patrick. Words alone cannot express what that meant to her.
Celebration of Life will be at 4 PM Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave. Willoughby. Family will receive friends 2-4 PM Sunday, prior to the service.
