Kristine M. Ruhe

Kristine M. Ruhe, age 54, of Mentor, passed away the morning of Thursday June 2, 2022, after a courageous 5 ½ year battle against adrenocortical carcinoma. She was born in Euclid, OH on Christmas Day, 1967 to David and Jackie (nee: Radel) Duricky. Kris had four brothers Steve (wife Kathy Robejsek), Jeffery (wife Victoria Mayleben), David (wife Michelle Toth) and Mark (wife Beth Kendra).

Kris attended St. Justin Martyr, Lake Catholic and Ohio University. She graduated from OU in 1990 with a BS degree in Journalism. She began her professional career at Bailey Controls Company where she met her husband Joachim. After Bailey, Kris was an Executive Assistant for AIM Executive and finished her career as VP of Operations for CareerCurve.

Kris and Joachim were married in April of 1996, and welcomed Alexander (1998), Rachel (2000) and Daniel (2002) to their family. All three children graduated from Mentor High School. Kris was an ardent supporter of her children’s activities which included FCMB, Volleyball and Top25.

Her family will greet friends at 10:00 a.m. before her funeral mass on Wednesday June 8, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church in Mentor. A luncheon at the Father Tulley Center will follow Mass.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to UH Seidman Cancer Center or to St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church.
