Larry V. Howie

Larry V. Howie, 85, of Eastlake, was received by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 28, 2022.

He was born June 18, 1937 in East Conemaugh, PA to the late Fred and Elizabeth (Thomas) Howie.

He moved his family to Lake County in 1959. A devoted born-again Christian, he was a member of the Bible Baptist Temple in Euclid. Larry made his living as a machinist, mainly at Lincoln Electric in Euclid.

Larry is survived by his wife of 65 years, Patricia (Hanley); daughter, Rhonda (Craig) Hasegawa of Phoenix, AZ and son, Randy Howie of Eastlake; sister, Rilla Manno of Johnstown, PA. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families and his Church family at the Bible Baptist Temple.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Erlamond Whipperman and brother, Donald Howie.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Monday, October 3, 2022 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby, where funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. The Rev. Andrew J. Rusnacko of Bible Baptist Temple will officiate at the service. Interment will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens, following the service on Tuesday.

Until we see him again, we will miss our husband, father, brother, fellow believer, friend, and as one of his nurses called him, “The nicest guy in the world.”
