Laura Jean Miller

Services for Laura Jean (Wollam) Miller, 92, formerly of Concord Township, will be at 1 PM on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 in the chapel at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township.

There will also be a celebration of life memorial service in Greenville, SC in November.

Laura Jean Miller has joined her Lord, Jesus Christ on October 24, 2023, from Greenville, SC.

Born October 13, 1931 in Alvordton, OH, she was raised in Mentor, graduated from Mentor High School in 1949, lived in East Cleveland and Cleveland Heights before moving to Concord Township in 1984 and to TerraBella Senior Living Community in Greenville, SC in 2018.

She was a member of Willo-Hill Baptist Church, volunteered with RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) Green Hat Society; St. Vincent Charity Hospital (Pillow Pal) and Lap Robe Society. She was also a 20-gallon blood donor with the American Red Cross.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary (Randy) Taylor, Martha (Keith) Waller and Marlene (James) Johnson; grandchildren, Melissa (Jon) Nelson, Jennie (Brian) Province, Amber (Dustin) Dobbins, Jason Lewis and Jonathan (Kimberly) Taylor; and great-grandchildren, Colten, Cullen and Calla Nelson; Eliana and Madelyn Taylor; Pearl and Flora Province; Maverick and Lainey Dobbins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivor “Midge” Miller on February 4, 1988. Her parents, Carl Wollam and Jennie (Klinger) Wollam, brother, Harold Wollam and sisters, Irene Grace (Charles) Gebeau and, Pauline Ruth (Joseph) Dudley are also deceased.
