Laurel Rae Fircak

Laurel R. “Laurie” (Carmany) Fircak of Willoughby went to rest with the Lord Wednesday, November 2, 2022.

She was born January 6, 1952.

Laurie was a retired healthcare worker at Breckenridge Village.

She will be remembered for her love, generosity, and caring for family and friends. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed spending time with her extended “family’ of friends at the Willowick Lounge.

Laurie was the loving mother of Lou (Rochelle) Kraska and proud grandmother of Austin and Kyle. She also leaves behind her sister Bonnie Leskovac and her step-sons, Michael and Kevin Fircak.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years, John “Red” Fircak and her parents, Leland “Lee” and Lillian (Smith) Carmany.

Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.

Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery.
