Lawrence "Larry" Shriver

We are sad to announce the passing of the world's greatest man, Larry Shriver. He was an Eastlake resident for 66 years. Larry passed peacefully at his home, with family by his side on September 28, 2022.

Larry was born into a large family on August 28, 1930 to Mr. & Mrs. Shriver of Ashland, OH.

After High School graduation, Larry married the love of his life, Jean. They celebrated 69 wonderful years together before she passed on.

Larry was a true family man, dedicated to his beautiful wife, 3 beloved children and perfect lawn.

Mr. Shriver was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church in Eastlake where he served the Lord faithfully and cared deeply for his church family.

Larry was a draftsman for Reliance Electric for 33 years before he retired. He then enjoyed bowling, golf and traveling the world together with his wife.

Survivors include his daughter, Deborah (Robert) Callow and his daughter-in-law, Sharon Shriver; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his bride, Jean; daughter and son-in-law, Donna (David) Stewart; son, Robert "Bob" Shriver, and his parents, Mr.& Mrs. Shriver.

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. A funeral service will follow the visitation Thursday at 7 PM.

A private family burial will be held at a later date.
