Leslie Jean Yurkovich

Services for Leslie J. (Marshall) Yurkovich, 92, of Mentor, will be at 2 PM on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday, July 12, 2024 and from 1-2 PM on Saturday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Yurkovich passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024 at Danbury Senior Living in Mentor, surrounded by her family.

Born March 27, 1932 in Cleveland, she was a Willowick resident for 45 years, Concord Twp. for 15 years and Mentor for the past nine years.

She attended Willoughby Hills Friends Church and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, singing, playing games and watching game shows.

Mrs. Yurkovich was employed as a bus driver for the Willoughby-Eastlake School system for 25 years.

Survivors are her children, Thomas (Daralynn) Yurkovich, Barbara McCormic-Sroka, Dennis (Riitta) Yurkovich, Gail Yurkovich and Elizabeth (Michael) Collins; grandchildren, Danielle, Tom, Bradley, Sean, Patrick, Erin, Jason, Lydia, Emily, Owen, Mikayla and Kaitlyn and ten great-grandchildren and her sister, Janet Marshall.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Thomas, on September 2, 2015. Her parents, Leslie and Jean (Redmond) Marshall; sister, Linda Cattell and brother, Scott Marshall are also deceased.

Private family burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens.
