Lester E. Noreck

A celebration of life for Lester Noreck, 77, will be held on Sunday, August 23rd, 2026 at

Bill Kap Piano Company, 14130 Euclid Ave., East Cleveland, Ohio 44112, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.

Mr. Noreck passed away July 16, 2026 of cancer.

He was a man of many talents, making his living as an automobile mechanic, a landscaper, as a partner of The Greenskeepers Grounds Maintenance Company, a truck driver, and a piano tuner for Bill Kap Piano Company for 20 years, up until June when his illness prevented him from working. He loved to play his pianos and was often asked to play at family gatherings. He could be counted on to show up when someone needed help but asked little in return.

Lester is sorely missed by his son, Stephen (Angela), step-son, Ron Arkutik, ex-wife and friend, Mary Keeney, grandchildren, Allie, Kyle and Jackson, and great-granddaughter, Viktoria.

He is also survived by his sister, Lori (Hugh) Greenfield and brother Michael, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Angela (Cardinale), sisters Geraldine Lutz, (Sherwood), and Cynthia Cassese (Frank).
