Lois Adelaide Henderson

Services for Lois Adelaide (Crockett) Henderson, 90, of Willoughby, will be at 1:30 PM on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Willoughby United Methodist Church, 15 Public Square, Willoughby. The Rev. Donald R. Perks will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Mrs. Henderson passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at Judson Park in Cleveland.

Born September 18, 1926 in Euclid, she had lived in Lake County over 60 years.

She was a member of Willoughby United Methodist Church, The Willoughby (Browning) Senior Center, and the former Willoughby Area Chamber of Commerce.

Mrs. Henderson was employed as a switchboard operator at the Willoughby-Eastlake Board of Education, retiring in 1985.

Survivors are her children, Susan (Greg) Miracle, Laura (Collis) Adams, and Jeff (Dale) Henderson; grandchildren, Nathan (Marci Novak) Miracle, Megan (Micah Klugman) Miracle, Randi (John) Hart, Ryan Rico, Mallory (Josh) Griffey, Kerry Henderson and Kelly Henderson; great-grandchildren, Talon, Myles, Reenie, Austin, and Quinn. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Herbert Evans Henderson on January 29, 1994. Her parents, Frank and Theresa (Voll) Crockett, brothers, Frank and Robert “Bob” Crockett and sisters, Blanche Craig and Carol Higgs are also deceased.

Private family interment will be in Knollwood Cemetery.
