Loretta Jean Shaw

Mass of Christian Burial for Loretta J. (Drocton) Shaw, of Willoughby, will be 10 AM Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 37932 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.

The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.

Loretta passed away peacefully September 1, 2021 in Willoughby, surrounded by her loving family.

Born June 6, 1934 and raised in Nemacolin, Pennsylvania, she lived in Euclid before moving to Willoughby.

Loretta worked at Minnesota Fabrics and JoAnn Fabrics for many years. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, traveling, and being with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Jacqueline L. Shaw; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Lemonia) Kowalski, Carrie (Mark) Koenig, Krista (Adrian Kovac) Shaw; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Avani, Isabelle, Irelynn, Lincoln, Ellis, and Whelan; brother, Jerry Drocton; and special-companion, Glen Kifer. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Shaw in 1983 and daughter, Terri L. Shaw in 1975.

Her parents, Peter and Tessie (Nokutis) Drocton and great-grandson, Noah, are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Twp.
