Louis A. Key, Jr., 89, of Wickliffe, OH., passed away peacefully on May 21, 2021, surrounded by his wife of 69 years, Geraldine Key, and his two sons, L. Mike Key and Jeffery A. Key. Louis is also survived by his 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Louis was born in Euclid, OH on June 13, 1931. Louis was a veteran of and served as an Army Sargent in Korea during that war in a MASH unit. He was an electrician by trade, and retired as the Wickliffe Building Commissioner. He was a past Worshipful Master Mason, and Education Officer of the 25th District and Father for DeMolay Boys. He was Commander of G.C.B.A., and later International Order of Blue Gavel President. In 1999, Louis was knighted “Sir Louis A. Key Knight of Camelot.” Louis loved the Cleveland Browns and had season seats on the 50-yard line. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Monday, May 24, 2021 at DAVIS-BABCOCK FUNERAL HOME, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at ACACIA PARK CEMETERY, 1880 SOM Center Road, Mayfield Heights, 44124, where the United States Army will provide honors. (please meet just inside the cemetery entrance by 9:45 AM)
