Louis James Mason Jr.

Mass of Christian Burial for Louis J. Mason Jr., 94, of Wickliffe, will be at 10 AM Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 29840 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. (Please meet at the church)

Mr. Mason passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Brookdale of Wickliffe.

Born March 2, 1931 in Cleveland, he has lived in Wickliffe for the past 55 years.

Louis was a draftsman. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran. Louis was an active member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.

Survivors are his children, Maureen (Michael) Ackerman, Kenneth Mason, and Teresa (Robert) Joyce; granddaughters, Rachel (Reid) Pritchett and Renee (fiancé Steven Miller) Ackerman and Victoria and Katherine Joyce.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Patricia S. (Majewski) Mason; his parents, Louis J. and Helen (Gilchrist) Mason Sr. and his sisters, Dolores, Elma, and Carol.

Louis’ final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township.
