Services for Louise D. Mosgrave, 92, of Painesville Township, will be at 1 PM on Monday, July 14, 2025 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.
The family will receive friends from 11 AM – 1 PM on Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mosgrave passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
Born November 29, 1932 in Big Stone Gap, VA, she was a longtime resident of Lexington, KY, returning to Northeast Ohio just over a year ago.
She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church in Lexington and attended Painesville Baptist Church. She was a founding member of Eastlake Baptist Church, where she worshipped until moving to Lexington. She enjoyed quilting.
Mrs. Mosgrave was employed as a cashier with Mentor Public Schools in several of the building cafeterias.
Survivors are her daughters, Sherry (nee: Collier) (John Southall) Halliburton and Patty (nee: Collier) (Dan) Halliburton; grandchildren, Danny (Jenny), Craig (Jodi), Heather and Jon (Cait) Halliburton; great-grandchildren, Payton, Stefan, Noa, Lincoln, Rhett, Ian, Ava and Evan; siblings, Polly (Ace) Aossy, Shirley (Fred) Schroeder and Eddy (Sherry) Day. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Mosgrave. Her parents, Howard and Stella (Holcomb) Day and siblings, Hazel Frazier, J.D. “Charlie” Day and Howard Day, Jr.
Final resting place will be in Whitehaven Memorial Park, Mayfield Village.
