Lovella E. Foote

Services for Lovella E. (Yantis) Foote, 92, of Willoughby, will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Willoughby Bible Church, 37927 Euclid Avenue, Willoughby. Pastor Todd Bolton will officiate at the service.

Mrs. Foote passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Symphony at Mentor.

Born August 9, 1923 in Toledo, she has lived in Willoughby for the past 55 years.

She was a faithful member of the former Willoughby Baptist Church, now Willoughby Bible Church and the Willoughby Senior Center. She enjoyed crocheting blankets and donated hundreds of baby caps to hospitals.

She married Cecil Foote in 1941 and he took our mother’s hand and led her to be with him in heaven. They are together again.

Survivors are her children, Donald (Janice), Larry (Dorain), Dale (Betty) and Marilyn (Fred) Dietz; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; sisters, Pauline and Margaret; brother, Earl. She also leaves many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Cecil on September 21, 1988 and son, James.

Her parents, Earl and Anna (Childs) Yantis, brother, Vernon and sisters, Lorena, Dorothy and Lena are also deceased.

The family will receive friends from 2-4, 6-8 PM on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township following the service on Saturday.
