Magdalene A. Nunley

Magdalene A. Nunley, 90, of Wickliffe, passed away December 8, 2023 at Hospice House, with her family by her side.

Born September 7, 1933 in Mineral Bluff, Georgia, she moved to Ohio in the early 1950s and met her husband, Bobby, and married in 1958. She continued to live in Northeast Ohio, raising her daughters and enjoying friendships with other Southerners in the area.

She was an active member of Willoughby Bible Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Glenda (Chris) Terrell and Victoria (James) Yenchus; grandchildren, Deidra Scott, Alexander Yenchus, Mackenzie (Jon) Smart and Erica (Gerard) Bardon; great-grandchildren, Troy and Ethan Scott and Oliver and Oren Bardon and Joanna and Remy Smart; brother, Junior (Delores) Moore. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby C. Nunley in 2017. Her parents, Roy and Lester Moore and siblings, J.L. Moore, Charles Moore, Harold Moore, and Jarrell Moore are also deceased.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM(CST) Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Cumberland Funeral Home, 207 Mabee St., Monteagle, TN 37356. Family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Saturday, prior to the service.

Final resting place will be in Bethel Cemetery in Pelham, TN.
