Marcia K. Schettler

Marcia passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 15, 2025.

Born February 18, 1952 in Champaign, IL, she has lived in Northeast Ohio for the past 50 years, most recently in South Euclid.

She was an active member of Willoughby United Methodist Church, where she was involved with Youth Group and Church Council, as well as District and Conference committees. She was also very involved with the Western Reserve Emmaus and Northeast Ohio Chrysalis Communities.

Marcia was also a member of the Cleveland Society of Health Systems Pharmacists. She received her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in 1975 from Ohio Northern University.

Marcia was employed as a clinical pharmacist at a number of Cleveland hospitals for 42 years, retiring in 2017.

Survivors are her husband of 27 years, John C. Wilson, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy (McQueen) Schettler.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to the John and Dorothy Schettler Memorial Scholarship Fund at Rantoul Township High School, Rantoul, IL.

Memorial services for Marcia will be held at a later date to be determined at Willoughby United Methodist Church, 15 Public Square, Willoughby. The family will receive friends following the service at the Church.
