Margaret E. Brooks

Memorial services for Margaret E. (Henry) Brooks, 93, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, will be at 7:30 PM on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Charles S. Pahlman will officiate at the service.

Family will receive friends 6-7:30 PM on Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brooks passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Mentor-Woods Care Center.

Born May 24, 1923 in Cleveland, she was a longtime Northeast Ohio resident before retiring to Florida. She returned to Ohio six months ago and settled in Mentor-on-the-Lake.

Survivors are her son, Jerry (Cheri) Meyers; grandchildren, Tammie Gilbert, Michael (Rebecca) Meyers, Tiffany Meyers, Kerri Kish and Keith (Amber) Kish; and great-grandchildren, Kate, Ryleigh, Kelsie and Natalie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1999 and her son, Johnnie in 2012. Her parents, James and Minnie (Walton) Henry are also deceased.
