Margaret Szidik

Services for Margaret (Rompila) Szidik, 86, of Mentor, formerly of Cleveland, a homemaker, will be at 10 AM on Friday, September 7, 2012 at Mentor United Methodist Church, 8600 Mentor Avenue, Mentor. Mrs. Szidik passed away Monday, September 3, 2012, at Northfield Village Retirement Community, with her family at her side. Born April 26, 1926 in Cleveland, she lived there until moving to Lake County in 1995 where she resided at the former Mentor Homes in Mentor and Hartley Manor in Concord Township. She was a member of the Mentor Senior Citizens Center where she enjoyed singing in the Mentor Music Makers choral group and was a longtime volunteer at the former Euclid General Hospital (now Euclid Hospital). She also enjoyed little children, polka music, nature and animals.
