Maria P. Marics

Mass of Christian Burial for Maria P. (Pruzsinsky) Marics, 82, of Cleveland Heights, will be at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 9016 Buckeye Road, Cleveland. Please meet directly at the Church on Wednesday.

Mrs. Marics passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 at Cedarwood Plaza Nursing Home in Cleveland Heights.

Born October 26, 1932 in Hungary, she has lived in Cleveland Heights for more than 50 years.

She attended Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Cleveland and Saint Ann Catholic Church in Cleveland Heights. She was a member of the North Coast Knitting Guild, and was passionate about sewing and crafting.

Mrs. Marics was employed as an X-Ray technician at the former Mount Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, for 19 years, retiring in 1994.

Survivors are her sons, John (Lynn) Marics of Mentor and Frank (Monica) Marics of Boulder, CO; and grandchildren, Benjamin, Hayley, Elizabeth and Stephen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Frank Marics, in 1969 and her parents, Istvan and Maria (Kovacs) Pruzsinsky.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Private interment will be in All Saints Cemetery in Northfield.
