Marie Hutchinson

Services for Marie (nee: French) (Switzer) Hutchinson, 98, of Mentor, will be at 1 PM Friday, September 7, 2012 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Friends and family may call two hours prior, from 11 AM until the time of the service. Mrs. Hutchinson passed away Monday, September 3, 2012 at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center in Madison Township. Born February 11, 1914 in Parkgate, PA, she was a longtime resident of Euclid before moving to Mentor in 1979. She was a member of Mentor Christian Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Willoughby Chapter 202 and was formerly an active bowler in senior leagues at Palisades IV in Mentor. Mrs. Hutchinson was employed as a shipping clerk at Reliance Electric for 18 years. Survivors are her daughter, Sandra Hanna of Madison; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edgar Switzer and Robert Hutchinson; her children, Mary Elizabeth Switzer, Samuel Fredrick Hutchinson and Nancy Carol Switzer; her parents, three brothers and two sisters. Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township, following the service on Friday.
