Marilyn H. Appeldorn

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Marilyn H. (Stimler) Appeldorn, 80, of Chardon, will be at 11 AM on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 316 Fifth Street, Fairport Harbor.

Mrs. Appeldorn passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015.

Born November 11, 1934 in Akron, she was a longtime Painesville resident before moving to Breckenridge Village in Willoughby in 2000.

She was a former member of Saint Gabriel Catholic Church in Concord Township.

Survivors are her son, Stephen (fiancée, Val) Appeldorn of Geneva and grandchildren, Becky, Douglas and Kim Appeldorn and Alexandra, Christopher and Thomas Zver. She also leaves her son-in-law, Stephen Zver of Chardon.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Zver in June, 2015. Her parents, Jack and Helen (Waller) Stimler and sister, Joan Arnold are also deceased.
