Marilyn V. Ennen

Services for Marilyn V. (Carey) Ennen, 88, of Mentor, will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Monday, May 22, 2023 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ennen passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Ohman Family Living at Briar in Middlefield.

Born September 18, 1934 in Ashtabula, she had lived in Mentor for more than 60 years.

She was a member of Grace Church of Mentor for over 40 years. She loved gardening, the Cleveland Guardians and Cavaliers, getting together with her close friends, going out to lunch and playing games.

Survivors are her daughters, Debbie (Danny) Dryer, Cathy (Dave) Ennen, Sandee (Dan) Ennen and Christy (Dale) Dryer; grandchildren, Rob, Sharron, Ricky, Tim, Sarah (Corey), Ryan (Lesley), Julia, Jacob, Dawn, Danielle, Jeff (Becca) and Andrew (Jasmine); 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos on February 8, 1999. Her parents, Charles and Verna (Brown) Carey, sister, Janet McClintock, grandson, Christopher Dryer, daughter, Cheryl and grandchildren, Gina, Michael and Angela are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery following the service on Tuesday.
