Marilyn W. Romagni

Memorial services for Marilyn W. (nee: Walker) (Moore) Romagni, 76, of Hudson, will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 26, 2015 in the Chapel at Laurel Lake Retirement Center, 200 Laurel Lake Drive, Hudson.

Mrs. Romagni passed away July 30, 2015 in Louisiana after a brief illness.

Born October 9, 1938 in Meadville, PA, she was a longtime resident of Ohio living in Kirtland and Bainbridge before moving to Savannah, GA in 1983. She moved to Laurel Lake in 2013.

She was an avid traveler and sports fan. She loved doing jigsaw puzzles and enjoyed working and playing with her computers.

Mrs. Romagni was the owner of the former Western Reserve Nursing Home in Kirtland, now known as Golden Living Center – Western Reserve. She retired in 1980.

Survivors are her children, Jim (Amy) Moore of Bartlett, IL and Patricia (Mark) Kronz of Aurora; grandchildren, Jason, Tyler, Andy, Jeff, Charles, Sarah and Katie. Siblings Margaret Molohon, Dan Walker, Lois Waite and Connie Rooke.

She was preceded in death by her second husband, Gus Romagni; parents, Hugh and Pauline (Woodworth) Walker and brother Hugh Walker, Jr.

Private burial will be in South Kirtland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to American Cancer Society.
