Marion L. Olree (Castle)

Marion L. Olree, 91, of Eastlake, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 in Willoughby.

Born March 3, 1933 in Lee Township, Iowa, she has lived in Eastlake for the past 69 years.

She met her husband, David, in an orphanage in St. Louis, Missouri.

Mrs. Olree worked in sales at the former Higbee’s Store at Great Lakes Mall in Mentor for many years.

She loved doing puzzles, reading, miscellaneous crafts and watching Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune.

Survivors are her children, Richard Olree, Mary (Ken) Beebe, Robert Olree and Jeffrey (Laurie) Olree; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Castle and sister, Jean (Joe) Shelton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Olree on March 31, 2022 and her son, Gary Olree on May 31, 2021.

Graveside services will be held later in the spring at Willoughby Memorial Gardens, 38660 Lakeshore Boulevard, Willoughby, in Section D. Please check online at www.davisbabcock.com for the updated information.
