Mark R. Dirosa

Celebration of Life for Mark R. DiRosa Jr., age 35 of Mentor will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. Family will receive friends from 12:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday before the service. To celebrate his life, the family asks everyone to PLEASE WEAR YOUR FAVORITE SPORTS ATTIRE. A gathering at The Wright Place Sports Bar and Restaurant, 34300 Chardon Rd., Willoughby Hills, will immediately follow the service.
Our precious son, Mark Jr. left his earthly body at home with his mom and dad’s loving hands caressing him on Friday, February 21, 2014. He was born September 16, 1978 in Willoughby. He was a certified mobility consultant at M.C. Mobility Systems, a family owned business. 1997 Mentor High School graduate;Kent State Alum; His love for Cleveland Sports and the Ohio State Buckeyes was phenomenal. He had a special love for basketball.
Survivors include his loving parents who adored him Mark R. and Kathleen (nee Miller) DiRosa Sr. of Mentor; sister Jennifer (Brian) Bergem of Mentor; nephews Brian and Tegan and goddaughter and niece Bianca, that adored him greatly; grandmother Marlene Miller of Mentor; grandfather Michael F. DiRosa of Mentor; uncle Robert “Bobby the Chumpo” (Barbara) Miller of Mentor; aunts Debbie Trubbe of North Lawrence, Ohio and Lorri DiRosa of Richfield, OH; cousins Lauren, Michael, Christopher, Jeff and Justin; adopted brother Dave Latina and an extended group of friends that he loved greatly; special canine friend Cooper; Mark also leaves behind a special friend and the true love of his life Katie Nobel.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Bob Miller and Charles Bencin; grandmother Patricia Bencin; uncle Michael F. DiRosa; aunt Pam Miller.
Private inurnment will be held.
