December 22, 1933 — October 5, 2024

A celebration of life for Marlene Frances Miller, age 90, will be at 10:30 AM on Monday, October 14, 2024 at St. Hubert Episcopal Church, 8870 Baldwin Road, Kirtland Hills, Ohio.

Family and friends were everything to Marlene. She was the most kind, generous, and loving soul who touched the lives of so many. Marlene was truly a special and selfless person who gave without expecting anything in return, always offering a helping hand, a warm smile, and words of encouragement.

Her kindness knew no bounds, and she was a beacon of light in the lives of everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and countless others whose lives she touched.

Marlene was preceded in death by the love of her life, Robert I. Miller, as well as her loving parents Elva and Francis Seitz, precious daughter Pam and beloved grandson Mark DiRosa, Jr.

She is survived by her devoted daughter Kathleen Ann DiRosa (Mark) and son Robert I. Miller, Jr. (Barbara). She is the cherished grandmother of Jennifer Hudak (Christopher), and Lauren Miller-Folisi (Timothy) and the treasured Great Grandmother of Brian Bergem, Jr., Tegan Bergem and Bianca Bergem. Marlene is also survived by her dear sister, Barbara Warner of Mentor whom she greatly loved along with her dear brother, Robert Seitz of Huntsville, Alabama and dear sister-in-law Virginia Miller of Willoughby. She has many nephews and nieces who brought her so much joy.

Though she is no longer with us, her spirit of love and generosity will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her including those in the local community and through countless hours as a volunteer at Mentor High School and Deepwood Fund Raisers. She retired from Deepwood after many years of service and was dubbed “The Voice of Deepwood" since she was the first contact when calling there.

Marlene had many hobbies including crafting. home decorating and sports as well as driving her Jeep Compass she called her “Little Buggy”. She also loved her many precious dogs over the years and of course, spending time with family and friends.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the Lake Humane Society, 7564 Tyler Blvd., Unit E, Mentor, OH 44060.
