Martha Murphy

Private family services will be held for Martha L. (Harp) Murphy of Painesville Township. Mrs. Murphy passed away Monday, September 17, 2012 at Lake Med Nursing and Rehab Center in Painesville Township. Born November 12, 1924 in Kentucky, she lived most of her life in Mentor, and moved to Painesville Township nine years ago. Survivors are her sons, Bruce (Barbara) Murphy of Mentor and Alan (Jennifer) Murphy of Madison; daughter, Janis (Ronald) Brow of Fairport Harbor; grandchildren, David Conrad, Laurie (Russ) Slover, Michelle Murphy, Chuck Conrad, Sheri Murphy, Jeff Murphy, Anthony Panzarella, Lisa Murphy, Michael Panzarella, Christopher Nelson, Jessica Miller and Leighann Miller. She also leaves eight great grandchildren, including Steven Slover. Her husband, Paul Murphy, passed away February 14, 1994. Her parents, Lawrence and Belva (Johnson) Harp; brother, Charles Harp and sister, Clara Fishell are also deceased. There will be no calling hours or services at the funeral home.
