Mary Ann (nee: Olszewski) (Simpkins) Harris went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 19, 2024.
She was an active member of Body of Christ Community in Willoughby. She faithfully served as a meal delivery driver for Lake County Meals on Wheels for 18 years.
Mary Ann enjoyed spending time and playing games with friends, attending concerts in the park in downtown Willoughby, taking trips, and she never tired of cheering on her grandchildren regardless of the sport they were playing.
She was dearly loved by those fortunate enough to be her family or call her friend, and will be profoundly missed.
Survivors are her sons, Steve (Suzanne) Simpkins and Tod (Kim) Simpkins; daughters, Tammy (Terry) Sullivan and Danielle (James) Davies; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Simpkins in 1984 and her second husband, James D. Harris in 2023. Her parents, Walenty and Mary (Steinberg) Olszewski are also deceased.
A celebration of her life will be held at The Body of Christ Community on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM with a memorial service immediately following at 11 AM. The Rev. Michael J. Currier will officiate.
A private graveside interment service for family will be held at a later date.
