Mercedes E. Neiner

Mercedes E. “Chub” Neiner went home to her mansion in her Father’s House on Saturday, February 16, 2013

She was born in Cleveland, June 12, 1918 to Henry and Cora Beerer Kellmer. She married Robert N. Neiner, Sr. in November, 1935, and they lived in Cleveland and Painesville before raising their family in Willoughby since 1955. Mrs. Neiner is retired from employment in food service with the Willoughby Eastlake Schools.

She loved family, gardening, playing the organ, accordion and tambourine and witnessing for God.

Mrs. Neiner is survived by her son Jim Neiner, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, Sr., her son, Robert, Jr., a daughter, Caryl, her granddaughter, Terry, two sisters, Vernet and Bea and brother, Norman.

Friends and family will celebrate her life Friday, February 22, 2013, from 4 – 7 PM at the Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby, where the funeral service will be held Saturday at 3 PM, with Pastor Darrell Lynn, of the Painesville Church of God.
