Michael J. Buccilli

Memorial services for Michael J. Buccilli, 79, of Eastlake, will be 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Thomas G. Elsasser of Saint Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 1:00- 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Buccilli passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.

Born May 8, 1936 in Struthers, he has lived in Eastlake for the past 56 years.

He was a United States Army veteran, serving at Fort Bragg in North Carolina and Fort Hood in Texas.

He loved the outdoors, camping, working on older cars, helping people, golfing and served as Scoutmaster of Troop 187 in Eastlake for many years. He also enjoyed woodworking, playing the violin, where he developed his love of classical music and working crossword puzzles.

Mr. Buccilli was a tool and die maker and designer by trade, and was employed by Hi-Carb for many years.

Survivors are his wife of 37 years, Adria (Merrill) Buccilli; daughter, Regina (Nick Heckerman) Rich of Orrington, ME and sons, Anthony (fiancé, Olivia Clinton) Buccilli of Mentor, Michael Buccilli, Jr., Mark Buccilli and Darrel Buccilli; grandchildren, Luccia and Robert Bittner, Sebastian Rich, Nicholas and Eleanor Heckerman and Jeremy Buccilli and brother, Joseph Buccilli.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary (Chiccone) Buccilli and brother, Andrew Buccilli.
