Mildred M. Keeney

Services for Mildred M. (Martin) Keeney, 89, of Willoughby Hills, will be at 10 AM on Saturday, February 25, 2017 in the Chapel at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township.

Mrs. Keeney passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Hospice House in Cleveland.

Born March 1, 1927 in Rock Creek, she has lived in Willoughby Hills since 1952.

She enjoyed painting and was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Mrs. Keeney retired from the former May Company at Great Lakes Mall in Mentor where she worked in personnel and accounting.

Survivors are her sons, Glenn B. (Mary) Keeney of Broadview Heights, Dennis L. (Laura) Keeney of Leroy Twp. and Allen P. (Beth) Keeney of Willoughby; ten grandchildren and their families and brothers, Rudy, Fred and Virgil Martin. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Glenn A. Keeney, on October 16, 2016. Her parents, Fred and Johanna (Brandt) Martin and siblings, Arthur, Sonny and Harold Martin and Erna Kraus are also deceased.

The family will receive friends from 2-4, 6-8 PM on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.
