Nancy J. Piascik

Services for Nancy J. Piascik, 78, of Willoughby, will be at 7 PM on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Michael J. Currier will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 2-7 PM on Thursday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Piascik passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.

Born September 17, 1938 in Cleveland, she has lived in Willoughby for more than 60 years.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and the coffee group at McDonald’s in Mentor-on-the-Lake.

Survivors are her husband of 60 years, Leonard; children, Donna Steel, Arlene Friedel and John Piascik; grandchildren, Lindsay Friedel (Mike Bowman), Adam (Megan) Friedel, Megan Steel (fiancé, Frank McNamara), John L. “Jack” Piascik, Jr., Bridget J. Piascik, Alexandria J. “Ally” Piascik and Charles P. “Charlie” Piascik and great-grandchildren, Belle and Alex Bowman. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Stelle, Betty, John, Frank, Bill and Ralph and her sons-in-law, Fred Steel and Mike Friedel.
